Leah Regan & Cassandra Catic — Co-Founders of Ever After Effect

Ever After Effect began the way many of the best things do — organically.

We didn’t sit down one day and decide to create a wedding company. It grew naturally from years of working within the industry, seeing what couples needed, and realising we shared the same belief: weddings should feel effortless, personal and deeply meaningful.

Leah’s world has always been grounded in hospitality and experience. As part of the founding owner behind The Epicurean Group, she has spent decades shaping celebrations where food, atmosphere and people come together seamlessly at her venues. Her approach is about connection — creating spaces where guests feel welcomed, celebrations flow naturally, and every detail quietly supports the bigger moment.

Cassandra’s path began through storytelling. With more than twelve years behind the camera and a BA in Photography, she built her career documenting weddings with honesty and instinct. Her work has been featured in publications such as Vogue Australia, but for her it’s never been about the spotlight — it’s about the quiet moments that make a wedding truly unforgettable.

For years, we worked alongside each other in different ways — Leah shaping experiences within the venues and Cass capturing the stories unfolding inside them.

Eventually it became clear that what couples were looking for wasn’t just a venue, or a photographer, or a planner. They wanted something more integrated. A team who understood the full picture. That’s where Ever After Effect was born.

Together we created a creative and coordination collective that brings together planning, storytelling, hospitality and design under one roof. The idea was simple: remove the complexity of working with multiple suppliers and replace it with a team who genuinely collaborate. From the early conversations to the last dance, our role is to guide the experience so couples can stay present in it.

Leah brings the structure, the hospitality and the instinct for how a celebration should flow. Cass brings the storytelling lens — the ability to see moments as they unfold and shape the creative direction of the day.

Where one focuses on the experience of the room, the other focuses on the feeling of the moment. Together, it becomes something complete.

Ever After Effect now works across some of the Mornington Peninsula’s most beautiful venues, including properties within The Epicurean Group and partner locations throughout the region. The goal has always remained the same — to create weddings that feel immersive, personal and completely reflective of the couple at the centre of it all.

At the heart of everything we do is a simple philosophy: weddings aren’t productions.

They’re gatherings of people who matter. Stories unfolding in real time. Moments that can’t be recreated, only experienced.

Our role is simply to hold the space for that to happen — beautifully, seamlessly, and in a way that feels entirely your own.
